Drive

Math Drive is where you create, find, and organize documents. Open a document to write. Sharing happens from the editor, not from the grid.

01

What you see

The left sidebar switches which list you are looking at:

  • Home — folders and documents you own.
  • Recents — documents you opened lately.
  • Shared with me — documents someone invited you to.
  • Starred items stay in the sidebar so you can jump back to them.

02

Create a document or folder

Use New on Home. You pick a format when you create the document — it stays that format unless you convert later (which makes a new independent document).

  • Visual editor — a Typst document that opens in Classic view (the page, no PDF pane).
  • Typst document — Typst in Code view: source on the left, PDF proof on the right.
  • LaTeX document — best when you already have a template or journal class.
  • Folder — organize documents. Drag a document onto a folder to move it.

03

Open, star, rename, copy, delete

Click a document card to open it. Right-click a card or folder for:

  • Star / Unstar
  • Make a copy, Rename
  • Delete (folders and documents)

Search from the Drive toolbar to find a name across your documents.

04

Share

Invite people from the open document (Share in the editor). Roles are editor, commenter, and viewer. Shared documents show up under Shared with me.

05

Typical workflow

  1. 01Create a Typst or LaTeX document in Drive.
  2. 02Open it and write. Extra files live inside the document, not as their own Drive cards.
  3. 03Share from the editor when someone else needs to comment or edit.
